Sebastiana Gagliano Springmann, D.D.S. F.A.G.D.

Sebastiana Gagliano Springmann has practiced dentistry in Williamsburg since 1992. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she attended New York University, trained as a biomedical sculptor and was on staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center providing prosthetic rehabilitation. Upon deciding to further her studies, she relocated to Williamsburg and attended The College of William and Mary and then The Medical College of Virginia where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. Springmann is very active in professional and community affairs. She has worked as a public health dentist for schoolchildren in New Kent County, chaired the Children's Dental Health Committee for the Peninsula Dental Society, acted as an advisor to the Virginia Dental Assistants' Association and the Medical Careers Institute's Dental Assisting program, served as the Chief of Dental Service, Williamsburg Community Hospital, raised funds for childrens' charities through the Smiles for Life campaign and restored smiles for less fortunate patients through Donated Dental Services and Smiles for Success. She is an active supporter of William and Mary athletics and served as secretary, vice president, and then president of the Williamsburg Chapter of the Society of the Alumni of William and Mary. She has been active in the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, Junior Women's Club and is a member of the Colonial Italian American Organization (CIAO).

Dr. Springmann is a Member of the Radiation Advisory Board for the Commonwealth and is also on the Advisory Board for Thomas Nelson Community College's Dental Hygiene Program and a member of the Thomas Nelson Community College Foundation Board She was recently named a Director of the CIAO Foundation. Dr. Springmann is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Peninsula Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry and has held memberships at the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Association for Women Dentists and the Crown Council. Dr. Springmann earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2013 This is one of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today Less than 5% of all dentists ever achieve Fellowship It means she stays up to date on the most current dental procedures in order to offer her patients the highest quality of care Along with her husband, Doug, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking. A loyal supporter of the Heritage Humane Society, she has several companion animals.

Patricia Flores, D.D.S.

Williamsburg, VA Dentist

Dr. Patricia Flores was born and raised in Peru. She graduated as a Doctor in Dental Surgery from La Universidad National San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, School of Dentistry, Ica-Peru 2004. Her mother, a retired dentist, worked as a General Dentist in Peru and has been the motivation for Dr. Flores’ hard work to become a licensed General Dentist in The United States.

Upon moving to the United States, Dr. Flores worked as a dental assistant in Boca Raton, Florida and as a dental hygienist in Delray Beach, Florida Dr. Flores received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, in Richmond, Virginia She was a recipient of an award in the study of Esthetic Dentistry by the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and an award in excellence in Prosthodontics

Dr. Flores joined the New Town Dental Arts team in July 2018 She is a member of the American Dental Association She focuses on cosmetic dentistry and enjoys helping patients achieve a smile that they thought could never be achieved.

Dr. Flores enjoys spending time with her family, her adorable tuxedo cats and cocker spaniel, as well as photography, yoga, and traveling. Dr. Flores has recently moved to Williamsburg and looks forward to discovering more of Virginia.

Jennifer Howard, DDS

Dr. Jennifer Howard was born and raised in the small town of Graham, North Carolina.  She is a double alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a Minor in Chemistry in 2003, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry in 2007.  Dr. Howard practiced in Chapel Hill for several years before moving to New York City, where she worked in the Gramercy area of Manhattan.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Normal Lassiter Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Howard prides herself on providing every patient with the same quality of care that she would want for herself and members of her own family.  Her priority is to always provide compassionate care in a comfortable environment.  She strongly believes in the value of continuing education to constantly improve the patient experience and takes courses to stay abreast on the latest in dental techniques and technology.  She is excited to have become a member of the Williamsburg community and looks forward to working with her patients to create beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime.

When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Howard enjoys sewing, knitting, reading and traveling the world with her husband and young daughter, Ruby.


Eric L Niver, D.D.S. M.S.

Williamsburg, VA Periodontist

Dr. Eric L Niver is a specialist in Periodontology and Dental Implants. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, then attended New York University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He then completed a specialty residency in Periodontology at the University of California at San Francisco, where he received intense surgical and implant training, sedation certification, and his Masters of Science in Craniofacial Biology. The subject of his Masters thesis was the attachment between the tooth and bone, which was published in the Journal of Periodontal Research.

Dr. Niver is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which means he has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and is certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He has been the recipient of research and dental leadership awards, has attended numerous meetings and symposia on various topics in periodontology and implant dentistry, and has served on the faculty of New York University and UC San Francisco dental schools.
